Dr Leigh McBride graduated from the University of Florida Veterinary Medicine in 1984.  She opened a private practice in December of that year (Sumter County Animal Hospital located in Wildwood, FL).  Her practice gravitated quickly to "show dog" medicine because of her avid love of the sport and pure bred dogs.  Dr. McBride specializes in canine reproduction.  She owns an AKC approved frozen semen facility Pupsicles, LLC.

Dr. Mcbride is the breeder many champions throughout her career, including, Rottweilers, Great Danes, Pembroke Welsh Corgis, Beagles, and German Shepherd Dogs to name a few.
